It’s that wonderful time of year again, and we’re excited to help you brighten up your home with beautiful Christmas lights! To ensure a smooth and hassle-free installation, here are some essential details and tips to keep in mind:
1. Payment:
Please have £35 in cash ready for payment on the day of the installation. If we need to supply gutter hooks, there will be an additional fee of £5, we no longer accept bank transfers. If you have booked a longer hour session the cost if £70.
2. Availability:
If you won’t be available on the allotted date, kindly leave your lights and payment in a safe place and send us a message with the exact location.
3. Preparation:
The installation is limited to 30 minutes, so before our arrival, unpack, test, and untangle your lights. A tangled ball of lights may result in the cancellation of the booking.
4. Gutter Hooks:
If you are supplying your own hooks, we recommend using S-shaped gutter hooks.
5. Weather:
Please be aware that all appointments are weather-dependent. In case of high winds or winter storms, we may have to postpone the booking at short notice for safety reasons. If your lights are unhooked during a winter storm we will make every effort to return and refit them. This does not include Icicle type lights that blow up and into the gutter.
6. Maximum Length:
The standard booking covers one or two strings of lights, up to a maximum of 25 meters. If you need more than 25 meters of lights, you’ll need to rebook one of our hour-long slots at a cost of £60.
7. Installation Height:
We only install lights up to 2 stories high, excluding third floors or roof dormers. If we’ve previously fitted your lights, we already have a good understanding of your property’s shape and height.
8. Appointment Flexibility:
Due to limited daylight during the winter, we organise our appointments by area. Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate requests to have lights fitted on specific dates or change individual dates, as our teams follow a predetermined schedule. If you feel the date is too early, have the lights fitted and then simply switch them on, on your preferred date.
9. Removal:
Starting from the 2nd of January, we will begin taking down the lights. We’ll provide details regarding specific areas and dates for removal.

Don't leave it until the last minute!
Everybody asks for the 1st or 2nd of December as the date to have their lights fitted. Wet fit lots of Christmas Lights over just a few short weeks. It is not possible to promise these dates to all our customers as it would be impossible. It is a much better idea to have your Christmas Lights fitted the week before then switch them on, on the 1st December.
We'll be back to take your christmas lights back down in January.
